I was asked to create a recap video at the 2022 ETHDenver Convention. The goal was to capture the event, the energy that surrounded, and the afterparty at The Church Nightclub.
I needed to create an exciting video that built hype to this event without knowing how crypto or Web3 operated. A lot of this video was learning on the go and using my skillset of editing in my head to what I was shooting to capture the feeling and the story of the event. This event is all about connecting, building, and creating together. I captured a lot of people talking and working on their Web3 developments, as finding some of those same people at the after party having a great time, which gave me a great work hard/play hard idea to work off of. I loved working with a lot of the crazy lighting, and using the spaces and atmospheres to emulate the feeling of being in the room. As my first crypto event capture, I definitely learned a ton and had a great time finding new creative ways to give the viewer an experience rather than just a standard recap video.
